We found the former “Stony Brook Farm” in the winter of 2015 and fell in love with the land, even while it was covered with two feet of snow. The air was crisp, the mountain scenery spectacular, and the quiet of the winter was instantly calming. Having spent summer and winter vacations in Gilford, NH when our children were young, we hoped to find a place here again that we could now invite our young grandchildren to enjoy.
What could be more special than a family day picking apples or blueberries!
We feel we have come full circle from enjoying our first boat on Lake Winnipesaukee. Tony spending his career in the corporate world and Mary working as a nurse attorney while we raised our family.
We will be running the farm much in the same way, but now as Stone Brook Hill Farm.
We hope everyone will continue to enjoy the farm for years to come.
